Central Union Church Main Sanctuary

Mason Architects restored the Church's main sanctuary and made several improvements that allow parishioners to participate more fully in church services.
  • Removing acoustic tiles and replacing the ceiling improves the acoustics in the sanctuary.
  • New lighting increases light levels, and an assistive listening system helps the hearing-impaired.
  • All surfaces of the barrel-vaulted room were carefully cleaned and refinished.
  • The toilet rooms were redesigned and minor repairs made.
  • Most of these changes were virtually invisible.
