Lanikai Residence

Designed in the kama'aina style with board-and-batten siding and a cedar shingle roof, this 6500-square-foot home in Lanikai has ohia floors throughout and spectacular views of the ocean and offshore Mokulua Islands.
  • The core of the house is its two-story great room, which has an open-beam ceiling and a grand staircase leading to the upper floors.
  • Adjoining the great room are the kitchen, where informal dinners may be served around its wood-topped island, and the library, which contains a built-in fish tank.
  • The three upstairs bedrooms include the 900-square-foot master suite, with walk-in closet and a soaking tub, also with a view of the Mokuluas.
  • A fourth bedroom lies in the separate guest cottage.
