Research Library
Buildings and sites are a tangible form of our history, and for years MAI has been collecting information about the history of Hawaii and the Pacific as we study the region's historic architecture. In an effort to share this information with the public, we are making these reports available here. Many of these studies are Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) or Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) reports, part of the permanent record at the Library of Congress. We will add many more reports to the collection as our clients give their approval.
