Joy Davidson, AIA, focuses on the preparation of preservation plans for historic buildings, especially housing on military installations. She is working on the Hickam Historic Housing Renovation with Actus Lend Lease as well as the renovation and addition to Saints Peter and Paul Church in Honolulu. She was the project manager for the Survey and Preservation Design Plan for Non-Residential Buildings at Hickam AFB, for the Historic Housing Surveys of ten different neighborhoods in Navy Region Hawaii, and for the Revitalization Plans for three of those neighborhoods. She recently completed Historic Structures Reports for Hawaiian and Bishop Halls at the Bishop Museum. In 2002 Joy received an Arch.D. and a Graduate Certificate in Historic Preservation from the University of Hawaii, Manoa. She joined Mason Architects in that year.
