John D. Fullmer, AIA, CSI, a partner and vice president in the firm, specializes in the management of large, complex projects. Most recently he was the project architect for the design of two Child Development Centers and two two-story buildings to house company operations and batallion headquarters at Schofield Barracks, where he recently completed the design-build renovation of two buildings in historic Quad E. He is the project architect for the Manana Marine Mart, the Fleet Store at Pearl Harbor, and the renovation of the Klipper Clubhouse, as well as a new Youth Center and BEQ, at Marine Corps Base Hawaii. John received his B.Arch. from the University of Hawaii in 1989 and has worked with Glenn Mason since 1992, first at Spencer Mason Architects and, since 1998, at MAI. John is a past president of the Honolulu Chapter of the AIA and serves on the board of the Honolulu Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute.
