Angela Thompson, AIA, works on a diverse set of projects. Currently she is the historical architect on the Navy Family Housing Public Private Venture and for a Maintenance Plan for World War II and Cold War buildings on USMC installations on Oahu. She recently completed a Master Plan for the Academy of the Pacific and a historic survey and master and maintenance plans for St. Andrew's Cathedral. She completed the restoration and adaptive reuse of Honolua Store on Maui. Angela was the principal researcher for the historic building survey on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, KaneŽohe Bay, and designed the compound to house Rusti and Violet, the orangutans at the Honolulu Zoo. Angela received an M.Arch. and a Graduate Certificate in Historic Preservation from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, in 1996. She joined Mason Architects in 1999.
